What is Fusion Radio

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

We believe in a lot of things here at Fusion Radio. We believe that music is pretty much the best thing ever. We like it all, but being the adventurous types that we are, we really strive to find those tunes that push, expand, and explore the unknown while also embracing the undervalued.

We also believe that ideas, artistic expression, and listening to wonderfully insightful people entertain, educate, and enlighten us is also the best thing ever. We like learning about music, new ideas, and the people that create them.

Jazz/Experimental

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Fusion Radio spins a wide variety of jazz, blues and experimental music. From early jazz and blues through to modern developments, eclecticism is the name of the game. Check us out if you’re just getting into jazz or if you’ve been listening for the past 40 years. In either case, you will find something new. Some styles you might hear on regular jazz programming: swing, ragtime, fusion, free jazz, bebop, post-bob, hard bob, acid jazz, Cuban, new age, etc. etc. If its improvised and it swings, we play it. We love it, you love it, so check it out!
