One of the goals of CSCR Fusion Radio is to promote awesome music that does not get enough credit on regular mainstream radio. It doesn’t matter where it’s from, as long as it authentic, we will play it! For this reason, we have shows that focus entirely on promoting content that you will not be likely to come across anywhere else. We call these shows Pure Fusion. The bands often played in this genre have a thick, massive sound, characterized by highly amplified distortion, extended guitar solos and emphatic beats. It is extreme, aggressive and most definitely loud!

Simply put, Alternative Rock is an umbrella term for any sub-genre of music that pushes the borders of traditional rock.Whether it’s the D.I.Y. mindset of Punk Rock (The Clash, Social Distortion), techno-tinged Indie Rock (Bloc Party, MGMT ), or brash and fuzzy Grunge Rock (Nirvana, Pearl Jam), it all falls under the mighty Alternative Rock genre. All that is required is that you turn it up real loud.

Hip Hop is not just a genre but it’s considered a lifestyle in the urban community. Rap is often known as the music in hip hop, but at Fusion each show is determined to present the hiphop culture from exclusive interviews, to hard hitting bangers that’ll blow the speakers out in the booth!
