As we conclude a very successful year at Fusion Radio, we have a number of important vacancies in our organization. We need your help turning Fusion Radio into the best campus-community radio station it can be. While contributing to Fusion’s success, you’ll be helping to bring music to the forefront, and interesting and educational content to the UTSC and Scarborough communities.

At the same time, you’ll be engaged in an exciting, rewarding, and educational experience for yourself. You’ll have the opportunity to be creative, to make important decisions, to manage and lead others. You’ll gain knowledge and skills that will be valuable for your current or future career. Marketing Manager (Part-time)
Remuneration: Approximately $3,000 per year

Technical Director (Part-time)

Fusion Radio is now opening nominations for its 2009-2010 Board of Directors. Open positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, and two Student Director positions. Nomination forms are now due on Friday March 26rd at 5:00pm.

To be nominated, you must obtain the signature of 25 members of Scarborough Campus Community Radio (full time UTSC students, Fusion Radio DJs, and community members who pay annual membership fees are considered members).

Please include a brief statement on the back of the nomination sheet why you are interested in running for this position as well as why you think you would be a great candidate.

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about music, thought-provoking, and creative. DJs of all genres are welcomed and encouraged to apply, but special consideration will be given to:

Alternative Rock/Top 200 DJs/RJs

Electronic/RPM/dance/techno/house DJs/RJs

Loud Rock DJs/RJs

Hip Hop DJs/RJs

World music DJs/RJs: includes Bollywood, reggae

Spoken word DJs/RJs: includes aspiring journalists

DJ experience is an asset, and training will be provided. If you have a podcast or demo, please include it in your application. For those interested in applying, please provide the following information:
